Our Experience

Oaks Landscape & Design has experience installing drainage in Beavercreek, Ohio and in the Dayton area for over 20 years.

This experience gives us a greater understanding of different types of soil and excavation practices in our area that lead to drainage problems.

We will come out to your site and assess your situation to find the best solution for your property. From extending your downspouts to adding French drains and catch basins, we have a solution to fix your drainage needs.

Drainage Solutions

The most common fix for a drainage problem is to add pipe underground and divert the water elsewhere.

We achieve this by installing a catch basin or French drain in the wet area that allows the water to enter the underground pipe. Assuming your property has enough slope, the water is then drained away from the problem area and off the property.

We can also work with local city engineers to run the water directly into the storm drains.

Oaks Landscape and Design also encourages piping your downspouts away from your home or the wet area. The water from a homes downspouts only enhances drainage problems. A homes roof can produce hundreds of gallons of water and should run away from your home and out of the problem area.

Installation

To help install the best drainage solutions, Oaks Landscape uses the best equipment.

From laser levels that can measure within .03" in 33' to small mini excavators that can fit through any size gate, Oaks Landscape and Design has the right equipment to get the job done fast and efficiently.

We try to always use solid PVC piping underground to help ensure the pipe slopes evenly away from the wet area. This allows the water to move consistently downhill without sagging or bowing underground, which can slow water movement down and allow debris to build up in the pipe.

Lawn Restoration

Having 20 years of experience also helps with lawn restoration.

Knowing the soil types in certain areas lets us use the best grass seed for your home that matches your existing lawn. When we come into your yard to install drainage we always try to keep the excavation to a minimum. We can repair your yard from all the trenching, seed and straw it, and with proper watering, in 2-3 weeks it will look like we were never there.
